I don't imagine at 6'-9" you are going to get too many comments about the Frankenstein/Herman Munster boots..... Even rats have a self preservation mode that kicks in.

If you go the steel toed work boot route I would recommend trying to get a pair of old plate shoes from somebody and having a cobbler remove the metatarsal plate and placing them on your work boot.

 

I have an older pair of +POS plate shoes Id donate to anyone who wanted to do this.........

Sometimes being large is no fun.

The Shutt is the only CP that fits me.

I am old and won't be doing this much longer.

I'm wondering if you could get a Carlucci off someone if somebdy can't do a little work on it and make it fit for you. Soor you can't have mine. Or even somone like Douglas coiuld custom make one, they have to do it with their FB gear, why not with a CP?
