New Wilson SL Aluminum Matte Black

Looks like I have found my back up. I did a search and can't seem to find any posts on this yet. If I did my math correctly, this is about .2 lbs lighter than my Wilson ti and has the matte black that looks sharp. I'm planning on slapping black TW pads on it.

Does anyone know the status of this mask? Do we know of it's going to be released? I thought I've seen some MLB guys using them but I could be wrong. I would love to get my hands on one if it does become avalible

Why not just get a Champro magnesium, and dull the bars around the eyes with some fine steel wool, like I did? Just as light, and you can have it by next weekend.

 

Stop drooling over what the MLB guys wear, fellas. Some of those dolts wear some pretty ridiculous stuff. Do your homework, find what fits you, and make smart choices on your style and protection. I mean, not too long ago I saw an MLB guy (no, I don't know his name) wearing stock Diamond pads. Talk about stupid.

Diamond i-X3 also comes in black.  Ultralight and it's $69.99 at ump-attire.  Throw some tan or black Wendy's pads on it, and you've got supreme stylin' protection for less than $110 (plus you'll never get any skidders off the top of your head).

So much hate around here. He was just wondering if and when its coming and he has to be lectured.  Umpirecordova, you may very well have seen a guy wearing it. My theory is, they cant get it right and what you probably saw was a guy with a powder coated Wilson titanium mask.
