I think he grazed him. Good call Dale.

wow, you must have good eys

That last replay I think the fingers are brushed by the glove. Although on second look it could be the fingers moving back after hitting the base.

watch the first slo-mo first to see where the glove goes....then watch the second one....he wasn't close to the hand

youre right. the second slo mo made it appear as if the glove was the reason for that slight finger movement rather than the base. I stand corrected

don't get me wrong...I'm not saying that he doesn't look 'out' at real speed

Yep. It wasnt until I saw the first slo mo and put it together that I have a missed tag. BTW love the hustle on this play even though it didnt work out. You never see a ball like that being stretched into 2.

Two things about this play,

First this is a good 4 man rotation.

Next, Scotts view is a beautiful one. For those of you who work 4 man or work some of the advanced 3 man mechanics where you get to take that call on 2nd base line extended know just how great a look that you get on this versus being in a more traditional location. Just like being in 3BLE for a play at the plate, it is all in front of you and you can be amazed by how much you see.
