Plate shoes

Has anybody use 3n2 plate shoes? If so, what is your opinion and do they fit to your true shoe size? Thanks

I've heard good things about these shoes, but they are geared more to softball than baseball. The plate isn't steel, it's carbon fiber I believe. More of a softball/small diamond shoe.

if the toes and metatarsal plate are anything other than steel, DO NOT buy them. keep your toes and feet safe. broken toes hurt bad and keep you off the field for awhile.

Then you guys better take back your Reeboks because they're not steel either!!

Guys, .. 3n2 plate shoe is NOT only geared for softball. Granted, they're not the prettiest shoe on the block, but they are lighter and MORE comfortable than the Reeboks.

YES, I just bought the Reeboks late this season and love them....very comfy, but the 3n2 are lighter, and , ...the 3n2's are actually a bit more comfy than the Rbk's. I used 3n2's plate shoe for 95% of the 2010 season...very comfy shoe. Also, took plenty of shots with them on, including a 200lb 15 year old catcher stepping on my toe ....

On edit ... My athletic shoes are all 10.5 and the 10.5 fit me perfectly. If you have to have all black shoes, the 3n2 is a great alternative

I used them for 100+ games at the lower level ball..No problems.

Very lightweight and comfortable.

But I like my Reeboks better. *edit* because they seem to have a bit more cushioning in with the insoles.
