Cleaning Shoes

I was cleaning my shoes earlier and ran into a problem. I use Scrubbin' Bubbles and a towel, but on my new Reebok shoes, the towel leaves little fibers all over the shoes, especially where pieces of leather are sewn together. Does anyone else run into this issue? If so, how do you fix it? Use a different material, or what?

I have the same issue with my NB. I use a shoe brush after toweling mine off.

use a microfiber towel...Costco sells them in packs of 24 - 30 for about $10. They are very absorbent and leave no residue.:GL:

I worked a state tournament in July with a guy who was wearing his grungy, black dress-type shoes that hadn't been cleaned since he bought them who knows how long ago. I offered to take them back to the hotel every night and clean them for him. He just said, "No, they're alright...":shakehead:

I agree with the microfiber towels....

Anyone ever use olive oil/lemon juice mixture to clean & polish? I used some from a fellow blue during the summer and it worked great.

His misture was 2 parts lemon juice 1 part polive oil.

He did mention that he thought the original mixture was reversed....2 parts olive oil, 1 part lemon juice...
