I bet the Phillies can't wait to get out of Philly. They lost again today, they let one of the worst teams in the NL sweep them four at home. Pathetic!!! Manuel needs to leave the umps alone and worry about his high priced talent.

Why can't Perlozzo see that? He's got great position too. What a bad ump he would be, even though he isn't going bonkers. Absolutely embarrassing, the 2 plays where the Phillies have had ADD and been picked off. Werth going back into 2nd on the throw following the 4th pitch of an intentional walk, and now this play at 3rd. This isn't even worth the manager's trouble to even question the play, when you are going that awful on the bases. Charlie showed his backside by even going out there when the player's play that poor. Philly can't beat their meat right now.

Makes Gibson's judgment call on out of the baseline, just a non-event.

Exactly. When a professional player makes a bone-head mistake like that, just stay in the dugout. Take out that wrath on the runner. There should be no reason to have to make that call. It shouldn't even be close. DUMB baserunning. You would think that after Q nailed Werth at 2B the Phillies runners would be back at the bag promptly on a return throw to the pitcher. And if you watch both of the pickoffs, Q doesn't just pop and and let it rip, he just picks it up and sort of non-chalantly throws the runner out. Looks like something from...
