Ball off player to dead ball area...

R2, 0 outs. I had a play this weekend where a hard ground ball bounced off F5 and went to dead ball territory. We called time and awarded 2 bases TOP.

Fed Rules, but would like to know if there is a different interp for OBR or college.

I'm pretty sure we got it right, def coach didn't agree.

(f) Two bases, if a fair ball bounces or is deflected into the stands outside the first or

third base foul lines; or if it goes through or under a field fence, or through or under

a scoreboard, or through or under shrubbery or vines on the fence; or if it sticks in

such fence, scoreboard, shrubbery or vines;
