All-Star FM4000 Mask

I am gonna by a new mask this season and was wondering who owns this mask. I have the All-Star System Seven CP and was thinking of buying this mask. Any reviews?

I have it. I will alternate it w/ my Titanium. I will use it this weekend at a clinic. I like that it's lightweight steel, I like the design...we'll see how functional it is.

I had the all-star titanium but sent it back after I talked to rep from all-star, he said this 4000ump mask was lighter, cheapier and had better test results. I have an umpire clinic this weekend so I will get to try it out then

My Magnesium Mask the paint is coming off in places. Any suggestions on fixing it? I will use it for a spare.

Gotcha, I will keep that in mind if I end up buying from them. With the coupon, that is the cheapest price I've seen yet.

I use my Champ pro magnesium as a back up, but it has one spot where the paint is starting to come off as well. Not sure what the issue is. I cannot complain too much since I only paid $30 for it when SOS was going out of business.

The paint has been coming off mine as well...I have sanded it to remove the loose paint and sprayed again with Flat black....it stays for a while. I will probably have is bead blasted and powder coated in the off season
