I thought this was kinda funny so I figured I'd share it with you. I bought a pair of grey slacks Monday, Aprl. 26, for my game on the 30th. I got them in by 2 day shipping from UPS on the 28th. I just now recieved my UPS comfirmation e-mail, one week after they arrived at my door step.:agasp_:

Must be something about UPS as I've never had a problem w/ FedEx, but have a similar story...

Ordered a few items from Honigs on 15 March. Checked UPS website to track the package. Showed an arrival scan in San Antonio on the 19th at 8:46 p.m, so figured it would be delivered the next day. Checked it a few times the next day to see if it was out for delivery and no change.

But, get home just as the UPS driver is pulling up and he has the package. :smachhead: I sign the digital scanner, GTG.

To this day, when I pull up the tracking # it's still showing the same thing:

"San Antonio, 3/19/2010, 8:46 P.M., Arrival Scan" :HS

I ordered some books from Amazon 4 years ago. I tracked them, and UPS showed them as delivered -- I had received no package that day.

I emailed Amazon, who checked into it. Apparently the package was lost, so they sent a new one out next-day. I received it without a problem. Two weeks later, I have a package -- it's the original books.

I emailed Amazon again. They stated to keep the books. I sold them on eBay.

See, I'm the other way around. I've never had a problem with UPS, but I can't even begin to tell you about the problems I've had with FedEx. I was really pissed off when my old laptop was shipped with FedEx.

The UPS guy is nicer than the FedEx guy. When we first moved into the house in 2005, he always rang the doorbell when he dropped off a package. In 2007, we had our first child. A few months later, the UPS guy rang the doorbell during our son's nap, which woke him up. The next time I knew a package was arriving, I wrote on a Post-It Note©: "UPS Guy: Please do not ring doorbell; baby is sleeping."

Except for needed signatures, he hasn't rung the doorbell since.

Of course, I jinxed it.

Had three new shirts delivered today for Summer ball. Not only does he ring the doorbell, he knocks on the door. :)

Don't know -- he was gone when I opened the door. However, the truck was driving a different direction down the street, so it could have been.

He knows how important umpire shirts are, so he just wanted to make sure you knew they were there!!!!!

Well, UPS didn't screw up this time. They told me right away when my shoes were going to be delivered. They must have heard me poking fun at them!
