Hmm... there's a comment from "Pete in Astoria" which has me wondering if a fifth umpire in the rotation might not be a bad idea.... a 'video umpire' if you will.

I kind of like that idea. I always thought it strange that all replays go through MLB headquarters in NYC. I always thought it should be on site, not piped through the head offices.
