  1. Due to the extra cost, this would never happen here, and particularly with the current economic state. Only after the 2nd round of state playoffs will you see 3 man.
  2. You answered your own question. Call it a ball and deal with whomever comes out to question.

    Appeal Play

Nice, except calling the BR out for missing 1B is not a time play, it can be done anytime the ball is live. No run can score when BR is called out before reaching 1B legally. So back to the problem. If R1 goes in the dugout he can not return for a live ball appeal. If called out for abandonement and advantageous 4th out can still be called on the appeal. DC should not have called time, he should have just encouraged the players to throw the ball to 1B for live ball appeal.
  4. American Legion rules are used here for American Legion games, and there is a malicious contact rule in American Legion. Think NCAA when doing an American Legion game as far as FPSR and MC is concerned.

    BI or HBP?

Does not matter why he interfered, he just did.
  6. For OBR it is 7.09e and the out on played on runner is automatic. For FED it is 7-3-5 and the out on played on runner is recorded, if the umpire believes the interference prevented an out, if not return the runner to the base left from.
  7. The runner will be called out for retreating to home only if he reaches it. I see no reason to return R1 and R2, unless it was a bunt in the air that was intentionally dropped and then I don't know why F1 would chase the batter toward home.
