I ordered a heated vest off of Amazon in March of 2024. I used it on the bases for my high school and college games and I cannot say enough good things about it! I probably should have ordered a size smaller than I did. I wore it under my coat and my core never got cold. I thought i saw a post on here somewhere talking about this but I cannot find anything. Happened last night. HS Varsity high 70s-low 80s foul ball. I had it on my +POS Zero G. It was not on the bottom bar of the mask. Felt like I got hit in the lower part of the mask and guard maybe got pinned between my mask and chest protector but also felt like a dull hit on my Adam's Apple so I'm not exactly sure. I couldn't find any markings on the mask though. I've been in contact with Samurai Gears and they seem willing to send out a new one. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

Ordered a ZRO G frame on April 18th. Followed @MadMax suggestion to email first. Payed with PayPal and waited. And waited. Found a phone number for Dan and sent him a text. He answered saying he would ship the next day. Next day turned into 2 1/2 weeks of phone calls, texts, and calls to @MadMax to see if he could help. Finally got a call from Dan around 5pm one night saying he shipped and was including the pads and a harness at no charge because of the wait. Got it the next day. Wish it could've gotten to me sooner but still pleased that it arrived. FWIW Dan told me he was discontinuing the frame only option.

Good luck getting one. Ordered the frame 2 weeks ago after emailing Dan first. I'm currently in text negotiations to get it delivered. He has stopped answering me at this point after talking to me daily...

@LineyNinja good question and honestly I didn't think of that situation until you put it in my head. Thank you all for the comments. I am definitely going to get a throat guard to go with the setup I mentioned in the OP. I'm still leaning towards the Samurai Gears guard however the other thread on here about the broken one has me a little concerned.

Hello everyone. I'm looking into getting a +POS Zero G frame and adding Team Wendy pads to it(I know about the issues with getting items from +POS but I'm willing to wait/take a chance on that). My question for the board is other than looks, why would I add a throat guard to the mask. Aren't the bars on the mask already sufficient? When I'm in my stance, the metal guard on the mask ends up over my protector so that it doesn't feel like there is a gap in between. If convinced that a throat guard is needed, suggestions about which one will go good with that mask? I like the Samurai Gears model. Thanks!! Scott

After a pretty successful season I'm well into my 2nd year back and just got word that I've been selected to work the HS playoffs in my state! Not sure if that means I'm that good or the shortage is that real....

Greetings all, I recently purchased the XV-HDX through Hibbets and it too was missing the triloc's on the bottom straps. I emailed both Hibbets and Schutt. Hibbets wanted me to send it back and Schutt was wonderful to work with! I explained the posts on this forum in my email and that it seemed like a lot of people were missing them. Lindsey at Schutt couldn't have been more helpful and is Fedexing some to me today. Gotta love it when a company has great customer service and stands behind their product!!
