  1. Have you ever checked out samuraigears.com? Bunch of Japanese gear on there. Owner is a cool guy too Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks, my man. Game 1 might be on MiLB.tv, but I've got the plate in game 2 and that won't be for sure. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. If I could find a way to get rid of it, I would lol. I just like the throat guard and am too cheap to buy another one. Plus I don't actually wear this mask too often Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. Yep, acrylic paint. I'm sure there's a better way to do it so that it wouldn't come off at ll, but it holds decently. I only wore them once and have to touch em up before I use them again. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. Here's my mask again, this time with grey pads Nike pads. I painted them with counsel from @HCueds, and they turned out alright. I wanted to do something different and I think I accomplished that. Thoughts?
  6. And you as well! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks, John [emoji41] Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. They're hollow steel. There were some on eBay for a while, so I snagged one with this in mind,@blue32 Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. Adidas mask, powdercoated black and the original TG chopped and hanging 6" Wilson TG. Copied Will Little's similar Nike look Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. I bought this CP in January. I removed the side pads, but I still have them and will include them. Stock harness. I moved on to a Douglas so I'm looking to move this one. $115 shipped. PM me with interest or more pictures. Thanks!
  11. Also, if its the one with the royal blue pads, I'm very skeptical that it's actually a Nike. It appears to have the crimped corners on the ear guards which mean that its a steal mask and likely one of the Adidas copycats that have been around lately. I could be wrong, but I think it's not a titanium. I would welcome somebody else taking a look at it and telling me I'm wrong though.
  12. He's trying to find them. He said I've got them if he finds them.
  13. Can't go wrong with the latest base shoes from New Balance. I've got two pairs myself.
  14. I'm looking for a new or lightly used set of black Nike pads. I got a new mask recently, but they came with royal blue pads and I love the pads, just not the color. Thanks
  15. Thanks, Scott. I look forward to seeing you on here.
  16. Yeah, I think they look pretty good. They're not too flashy, not too bland. I like the look a lot. I can't speak to their warmth, however.
  17. I suppose there are definitely warmer options, but the Franklin gloves look "cooler." Personal preference.
  18. I believe so. I think I've seen somebody wearing them this postseason. Can't remember who.
  19. I think I've seen this a few times now. It fooled me a couple times when I noticed the ear guards didn't look like any Wilson I knew of but it was in fact the Force3 with a gold W on the pads. Looks good.
  20. Hey all, I'm likely attending school this January and was just curious if they sell equipment and other apparel there? I've seen pictures of Jim Kirk there and guys getting fitted for new stuff, but I wasn't sure if any uniform apparel were part of the tuition or if they bought the stuff. I know some things are provided, but I figured equipment wasn't and I'd ask what is. I've got a few things I want to get equipment wise before I go, but if I can buy it there, that would be something I'd consider as well. Any information would be very helpful and appreciated! Thanks, Tyler Johnson
  21. So that's a Mizuno? I've seen a few of those lately (I think Tripp Gibson wore one last night in Chicago for Cubs/Pirates), but didn't know what frame it was.
  22. which game did you guys see this in? or when he last wore it? I want to see this
  23. Bad idea to use it in 2-man, jut because if there's an overthrow, you have a lot longer distance to run than the runner to get to 3rd and you have to cross the base path. You definitely have to read the fielder a little bit. If he catches and puts the tag on the inside of the bag (most likely play imo) you might need to be in different spots depending on his body orientation. That might be another reason U2 is so close in the video, so he can change his angle a lot more with one or two steps.
  24. Maybe so. I think it will give a much better view of when the touch occurs, although I'm not sure if it would work with a left-handed hitter because if the shortstop comes to take the throw, U2 wouldn't be able to move that way, and it is possible that U2 could get blocked out either way (2B or SS). It really depends on how well they move and adjust late.
