    2014 Umpiring goals. 1. Learn to be more effective in dealing with coaches. 2. Help along the younger umpires in my league. I am mentoring two. 3. Be more consistent with my strike zone. I admit I have a lot of trouble with this though I progressed greatly later in the year. Still aways to go though.

    Rules take a lot of repetition. Have an extra copy sitting in your bathroom for those daily study sessions. I was thinking more like keep a copy in my locker for after tests... why not both? Don't have that many copies. When you are at home keep it in the rest room and then take it with you when you go to school.

    When he shut up, it sounds to me that he wasn't used to people standing up to him so when you did it took him by surprise. The only way to stop these bullies is to stand up to them. Good job .

    The fact of the matter is that OSU is not in the championship and Auburn is. OSU had their chance to go to the championship and lost it and that's that. Should've, would've, could've. Go win the Orange Bowl and move on to next year where you will have another shot.

    Sounds like a guy who made triple A but never could make it to the majors and is bitter. When it comes to the dealing with the coaches part of the class give him the Haller boom.

    Right now I use a traditional mask and it has kept me safe but as I move into older kids I will go to the HSM.

    Time for me to add fuel to a living post for once and add my . Auburn's running game smoked one of the toughest run D's out there in Mizzou for just under 550 yds...impressive BUT they have also won multiple games because of plain and simple damn luck. FSU has a fantastic passing game but if Jocko's boyfriend has a bad night they are in some serious trouble. It will come down to Auburns running attack vs FSU passing game. My prediction FSU 42 Auburn 35

    Again I can't make up rules. My league does not allow ejections for this and that's that. I disagree with it but I can't ignore the rule simply because I disagree with it. My league is not affiliated with little league so some of our rules are different. Second when I mean carelessly thrown I mean really thrown. For example, the bat hits halfway up the backstop while in air or goes to one of the infielders . A simple toss to the coach on the way to first is simply not the same. Calling the latter in my opinion is being an OOO
