Actually you can see Knorr after he had been ejected telling Welke that he should've ejected instead of warning.

You don't see that as a fly ball the infielder reached with ordinary effort? He slowly backpedaled out to it. It his his glove. The infielder never struggled to get underneath that ball. By rule that was the correct call.

Then there is also the catch of requiring 5 years of college baseball experience or higher of your level. 3 years with pro experience. No one is required to take the test... Just you need to take it if you want to be eligible for Post season play..So if you think you might be one fo the Umpires selected to work Post Season, then Take it.

We are taught to be in C for any pick off at 3rd, because it is the more important play. Plus on a hit it is easy to pick up the R1 and take him into 3rd. CCA manual teaches B, I disagree with C position. However, that's what you're taught that's what you do. CCA also teaches that in R1/R3 situations, PU will have any play at 3rd on R1. I personally would've held true to my call and not went for help in that situation, and he's now on a very short leash with me.
