Very unprofessional didn't seen like that big a deal and he was more aggressive than the coach and the police unless a threat was made they should never have been there . Our uic has instructed us to eject turn around and walk away our partner should be intervening if it gets out of hand that tends to diffuse the situation just my opinion

Sometimes u just can't help saying something 11/12 major game dad is standing at fence o. Third base side just chirping the whole game about balls and strikes usually I don't care but it just rubbed me the wrong this time because even with a stare he would not shut up so in between innings while the pitcher is warming up I lean on the fence next to him and say "you know I think your right" he asks about what and I reply "I can see the strike zone .better from back here I don't need to be behind the plate I wish you had showed me this earlier now I can sell all my gear and just stand back here,oh sorry now the batter is in the box and I can't see anymore maybe I better go back where I was what do u think" no reply from him and I didn't hear anything the rest of the game.I just couldn't help myself I know I shouldn't have but oh well

Not sure if this is just my experience or it it's common.I have loved baseball all my life and when it was time to teach my son the game I jumped at the chance I've been coaching him for the last 7 years he's 13 now and a good ball player , better than I was at his age and I always made sure I was educated in the rules. I decided I wanted to start umpiring 2 years ago so I did and now I do both. It has changed the way I view the game completely. By the way I have never been the type of coach to argue and have never been ej. Now even during my games I find myself critiquing the umpires especially if they are out of position or don't know the rules I think it has actually made me a better coach. Have others out there had this same experience or is it just me even just being a spectator i still find my paying close attention to the umpires.

Probably screwed up today but at the time it seemed like the right thing to do.I'm in c slot during an 11 year old rec game runners on 1st and 2nd batter hits slow roller down 3rd baseline f5 runs up fields ball runs back to 3 beats runner i call him out no problem.r1 is jogging to 2 f5 throws( yes he cought me off guard) to second ball beats runner I call him out.first base coach says his foot wasn't on bag. I tell him from my angle it looked like it was. Here's were it gets interesting f4 who was the one making the play walks up an tells me he didn't touch the bag and the runner should be safe I asked him are you sure he says yes he didn't want runner out when he didn't make the play and tells me to put him back on 2.I changed my call.The dc goes nuts explained to to him want happened and he still didn't like it.to me if an 11year old can show that much integrity I needed to change it. He had more class than both of his coaches combined

I've seen the set position he is talking about legal but the thing that gets most pitchers that do that is when they turn there head to look at first there shoulder flinches that's why most coaches don't teach that type of set

Runners at 2nd and 3rd runner on 2 leaves early batter hits stand up double and both runners cross plate where does everyone end up because the runner at 3 was illegally forced and only one open base ahead of batter to bring runner back to this is 9/10 kp with no leadoffs

First off it seems the younger the players the worse the coaches are.I was doing a machine pitch game (the second of the night) and the wheel on the machine was messed up and being very inconsistant. We struggled through the first game with no real problems but the second was a nightmare. Hc complaining all night we explained to both sides the problem a nd we were doing the best we could.Pu finally told him Thats Enough later in inning starts in on me I didn't know what I was doing. Gave him one more chance and explained about the machine called me a liar and it was never our fault and said it loud enough for fans to hear it.At that point I dumped him.was that too quick
