I probably would not have ordered them if i did not have some credit with them that I needed to use up. If I were spending my own cash... I would certainly go for the ultimates.
Sorry guys but I am not able to post pics here. If you pm me or get me your e-mail address I will gladly e-mail you the photos I have at hand. Right now all I have are pics of the Wilson TI ... The Wilson TI currently has a new set of tan doeskin wrap around pads installed and I will include a brand new Wilson/ MLB harness.
If you prefer black... I can alternatively install a set of Wilson 3815 wraparound pads. These were worn a couple of times but are in new condition.
Transitioning to an HSM this season, so I have several traditional masks for sale:
Wilson TI (standard profile) , All-star FM25 TI, Diamond featherweight ( with wilson pads) and All-star FM25 steel....
If anyone is interested in any of these... pm me.
For anyone who might be interested:
http://www.baseballplusstore.com/ is having a week long promo .... they are listing the All-Star MVP4000TI for 285.00 with free shipping and the MVP4000SL for 189.00, also with free shipping.
I have never purchased from this site, so I cannot comment on the service, etc..... but these are very good prices (especially on the TI) and I just thought I should pass the info along in case anyone is interested.
Wow! that is a shock.....Just there a couple of weeks ago....oh well.... I wonder if this means they will no longer charge tax for Ca. orders placed online?
Picked up a 13.... 125.00 is a nice deal....
I was under the impression that they had run out of 13s already or I might have bought one before.
Anyway... still a good deal... not as nice as 99.00... lol...but not bad.
Wolf is excellent, and, apparently, widely respected by players as well.
I am a Greg Gibson fan as well, (quirky mechanics and slightly off kilter fashion sense notwithstanding...lol)
I did obviously order the wrong size. Like kevin, I also wear XL in just about everything else, but,for me, the Majestics run large. The XL was certainly too big for me to wear on the bases, which is also when i am most likely to wear a jacket.
You also have the option of the MVP4000SL, which features the polycarb shell with the Super light Steel cage. The weight difference is a mere 2 oz, and, while the TI cage bars are thinner... the SL can work quite nicely.
