You say when you bend down, the mask should remain in contact with your face. I was told to wear it loose, and when bent the mask should tangle off your chin. 

Would the correct tightness vary by pad type?

Could also vary because of the harness. I just put Ray's harness on one of the Nikes and I dont think i can get it to hang off me like I did a standard harness.

That being said. The mask harness is incredible! Probably the most comfortable one I have ever worn!
