Hello guys !

Here in France, it's not always easy to buy baseball apparel, gloves, shoes etc....A friend of mine asked me if i knew a website called "boombah.com".

Every product on this website is a "boombah product". Do some of you have already bought something on this site? I'm afraid that this is a "low-cost products" website. Am I wrong?

Thanks...

I've bought a few things on boombah, it's a regular seen brand here for baseball and softball. I love their shoes and have a few pairs both running and cleats. I like their warm up suits and shorts, but they are definitely made for tall people. Couldn't tell you about their gloves or uniforms, as I've not owned any but I see them quite a bit, especially on the slow pitch softball fields. It's definitely the go to place for softball uniforms around here, softball guys love the wild designs they offer. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

I purchased a pair of their shoes and sized up under the assurance of the rep that they are wider and would fit correctly.  They did not feel any different and I wound up selling them because she had told me I would not be able to return them.  If you are looking for wide shoes, these are not the ones for you.

Boombah is a legitimate bat-sports outfitter, known primarily for their uniforms, and more so for their presence in softball instead of baseball.

There's some good stuff in there – they used to make and offer flat-front, charcoal umpire pants. I purchased two pairs from them – very very nice, but discontinued.

Never owned any Boombah products, so I'm not qualified to give any opinions on them, good or bad.

All I can tell you is, in my neck of the woods, any adult baseball player playing in a competitive league would not be caught dead wearing or using anything from Boombah. To them it is strictly a softball brand catering to (as one ballplayer in our league put it) "overweight, washed-up, bat-shaving, beer league idiots who can't play real baseball...and the brand name itself sounds so f*****g stupid." Kinda harsh, I know, but that's how the baseball players feel about softball around here. Not necessarily fair to the softball sport or to the Boombah brand, but I've seldom experienced such disdain for a brand of equipment as with Boombah. I don't get all the hate, TBH.

As I said, I can't say anything good or bad about the products. All I can say is that if the baseball players in your area are anything like those around here, they'll probably accuse you of being a "softball p***y" if you show up in anything with Boombah branding.

YMMV.
