Hello folks, one of senior member of my organization (ABOA) told me about this website.  I am a fairly new umpire with 3 years experience.  I have coached for over 15 years, baseball, basketball, soccer and tennis.  I still learn something everytime i go on the field to call a game from my fellow umps or from mistakes that I have made (things I can do better).  I have read alot of the topics on this site and the answers are quite helpful.  I am quite certain that I will get to know you guys over time and hopefully learn from ya and possibly contribute to the conversation as well.  I live in Harlem, GA and have a wife and 2 kids (22year old girl and 14 year old boy)  Hope to see some of ya on the field over time.

Welcome, interesting handle.

I work as a Medical Technologist in the laboratory hence the handle of labguy1971.  Some people think it is because I have a thing for labordor retreivers.  Thanks for the welcome :wave:
