JUST CAUSE A GUY GOES TO UMPIRE SCHOOL DOES NOT MEAN HE CAN UMPIRE. i HAVE SEEN THIS 1ST HAND AND CONTINUE TO SEE IT. Guys will come out of school and think they can go right to college.. it's really funny.

 

 

I'm sure that's true.  Just like any other field that requires training.

We all know that we're expected to be perfect and improve from there.  So it's not unrealistic to strive for perfection.

No, unfortunately not.  I attend this camp every year. 

 

It does have some of the best instruction, however.  Instructors are all ex pro and/or college guys.  Mark Ditsworth and Mike Duffey have each worked CWS multiple times.  Scott Taylor and Mark Uyl are also instructors.  This camp is not wanting for excellent instruction.

 

I will talk with Bruce next month about possibly adding instructional videos to his site.
