I would trade my Spyder throat guard for one. The Spyder is about $30 and the Mizuno is about $11.

Are the blue ones even available? I looked on Rakuten the other day and it didn't look like any were available. Looks like Amazon.jp might have them.

 

Plasti-Dip would probably work. Powercoating would probably work too.

I know you can Plasti-dip plastic. People do it on cars all the time. I would think it would hold up if it holds up on cars. People put it on wheels too. 

 

The only real issue are the straps that hold it on. The navy throat guard has navy straps....

I could fix that. I have a tailor that could get the fabric and take care of it.  Worse case scenario, black zip ties.
