hour long first inning

On the plate for the 3rd of 3 games. Started at 2:00. Start time of the bottom half of the 1st inning - 2:55. Score 13-0. HT pitcher couldn't point a gun at me to get a strike. It got to the point where the HT catcher was apologizing to me and the batters for the poor pitching. Just one of those days.

I feel for you. Had a same type of game with a 45 minute bottom of 1st inning. The rest of game (2 1/2 innings) took the same time. Final 18-2 HT.

Wow!  Sounds like it was a travel ball tournament (3rd game of 3).  What age group, or level of play or program (USSSA, etc)?  Was there a time limit?  Just trying to wrap my mind around the whole picture.

LOL Seniors. Mostly high school players. Small towns playing other small towns.

Did forget to mention. Winning team had a 13 year old pitching in the mid 70's. Sure enough, he one-hopped one right to my junk. Thank God for the nutty buddy.
