Sitting here with SWMBO watching the WCWS and I just realized something: WTF is with all the jewelry on the girls??? The Lousiana F1 is wearing a watch, bracelets, big ol' earrings.

I understand they are girls but the safety factor has to come into play you would think.

Just curious!

Girls who think they need to look good while playing sports are dumb. It's a sport. You're going to get sweaty and gross, so just take off the makeup and jewelry.

I umpire woman's ASA softball in the summertime and no jewelry is allow. However, under the rules in college softball the girls can wear whatever they want..

I did my first college softball games this spring, the jewelry was the first thing I noticed. That and the many uses of the f-word by the players.

I was on the bases and a girl slid head first into second, had to leave the game because she tore out her nipple ring!!!

Oddest injury ever? No still goes to Brian Roberts hitting himself over his head with a bat in frustration reacting to a strikeout, he got a major self inflicted concusion, trumps nipple ring by an inch

They were her sunglasses, one lense broke or fell out something like that so she took out the other lense and made it her own little swag as they called it...

Nipple rings trump all. Guys hit themselves with the bat way more often than that occurrence.

I did a girls slo-pitch game and the league had just instituted a new jewelry rule and we were to mention it at the plate meeting.

One of the coaches turned to her team and said everyone lift up your shirts and show Tony no one is wearing a nipple ring. Sadly or in some cases gladly none did.
