The DH is called out on strikes to end the bottom of the 4th inning and subsequently is ejected from the game for arguing balls and strikes.

a. The new designated hitter does not have to be announced until his next time at bat.

b. Due to the ejection, the DH spot in the line-up is terminated for the remainder of the game.

c. Require the head coach to inform the plate umpire immediately, of the name of the replacement for the DH that was just ejected from the game.

d. If the head coach does not announce the replacement for the ejected DH immediately, he shall be ejected

It's like any new batter coming up to bat. You don't have to announce it till they do come up.

Our discussion here focused on what if you started with a P/DH and then had a replacement DH who was ejected.  You can't put the P back in offensively, so you don't have 9 in the lineup and need a DH immediately.  (There's some other test question that deals with what to do if you don't have 9 -- and it's an immediate forfeit)

Maybe just reading more into the play than is given.

that questions is talking about if you have no available subs.  This is completely different.  If you run a catcher after bitching about strike 3 at bat they replace him the next half inning on defense or when his spot comes up in the line up.  This isn't that hard of a question guys.

It had to do with an injured F4 and there were no available eligible substitutes - immediate forfeit.

I know this is in college section but had the same exact question in my FED test and got it right.
