Not sure if starting a separate thread is the way to go, but it seems the "Two Wrongs Make a Right?" thread I started last night somehow got merged into the "Obstruction?" thread.

The "two wrongs make a right" thread was a hoot. Especially liked the graphics (he said jealously).

Can we get the "2 wrong's don't make a right" plays taken out of the "obstruction" post and made into it's own separate (oops, or put into the "selling the call"post) again so as not to confuse the younger guys who want to read the "obstruction post from beginning to end without getting another post during the discussion progression? They need to know that touching the runner with the free hand without the ball is not OK at any base, including 1B. It was a miss by the 1BU, although in his judgment the runner was tagged with the glove with the ball inside and therefor the out call.

Also, they can see the call at 2nd base and see if it was just a judgment miss which happens to us all, or if there was a positioning problem that could have caused the miss.
