Buy better gear than you can afford.

The only thing you MAY be able to downgrade is shinguards.

An ultralight mask is not a luxury.

If you have not made any money the first year above what you have spent on gear you MAY have bought the right and enough gear.

 

If properly equiped to call your first12u or above game you have spent a min. of $500 unless you have a mentor donating some used BUT highqualty gear.
