Dont throw the ball back in youth ball unless you are doing 16U and above. If little Johnny misses it and gets a face full of baseball you are the bad guy.

Pony, I was able to take a look at your second plate.  Here are my comments:

 

- My #1 suggestion is for you to square up more with right-handed batters.  Your trail foot is significantly too far back, IMO.  You look much better with left-handed batters.

 

- Introduce yourself to each F2 and shake hands.  I would not take warm ups behind a coach - wait for F2 to come out.  Take 2 warm ups on each side (as if you have a RHB and LHB).

 

- I saw some head movement, but overall you looked locked in, and seemed to be tracking well.

 

- Timing is very good.  You stay down on balls and come up tall for strikes - well done.

 

- At about 10:05, with R1 there was a ball hit down the RF line.  You came up the line and signaled fair.  Did you communicate to your partner that you were on the line?  Hard to tell as the audio is pretty bad.

 

- Your K3 looks weird since you do a left handed chainsaw.  Nothing wrong with it - just looks backwards.

 

You looked good and hustled - I'd work with you anytime.

Thank you so much for taking a look at my game. Your feedback is really appreciated. I'll address some of the points you made: Yeah, my stance looks a little too canted with righties. It also looks a little wide, especially for lefties. My stance the first thing I'll work on next time I go out there (which is this weekend). In terms of the catchers, the only reason I didn't introduce myself to the HT F2 is because I already knew him from the previous game. I know that I introduced myself to VT F2 at some point because I can still remember his name. You make a good point about where and when to take warm up pitches. I'll be sure to do that for my next game. There was at least one play in that game where I communicated "I'm on the line!" to my partner. Not sure if it was the one you mentioned, but it probably was.

I don't think it's too wide.  Wide is good!
