Sure have.

It was a one of those stiflingly hot summer days when the humditiy is about 110% and the temperature is about the same.

The score was around 11-2, but not that close. Mgr comes out to talk with his pitcher. I walk out to move him along, As he and I depart the mound he starts in on me that his pitchers suck, his batters are awful and that it was too damn hot to stay in the dugout to manage his pitiful team. He is quite animated and equally funny.

I stopped walking and stared at him. He continued. He got in my face and said that I had to eject him because he couldn't take it any more. I declined. He got redder.

He started pointing in my face and told me that I ejected him, the first round was on him. Again, I delcined indicating that if I had to stay to watch the rest of this disaster, so did he. He got redder and then used the magic words that would get me a free first round. He called me a dirty c^&*k sucker and "Boom!", away he went!

I never got that first round. Just goes to show you that they are still rats, even when they get what they want!

I had a varsity coach come to me one night, his team sucked, they were getting killed and he says," My son is playing LL tonight, I really need to get hgoing, can you toss me?" I told him he had to give me something to work with, he did, I dumped him. He said thanks and left.

Yeap, a few times. Had one last night. Kid tries to score on a passed ball. Catcher gets to it throws to the pitcher and the pitcher drops his knee, blocks the plate and gets the out. 3rd base coach comes running up the line, I was about to toss and the manager comes out, says Bill, get back in the box. He called time and comes to talk to me.

Coach: I'm not out here to argue, just settling my coach down. Good call, he didn't come near touching the plate.

Me: Yeap, heck of a play.

Coach: heck of a game, I like these close ones. More fun than the blow outs.

Me: Yeap, but its time to wrap it up.

Coach: sure thing, yall need any water?

Me: nope, thanks for asking.

He turned around, jogged off and got a standing ovation. The fans and his players were none the wiser.

What do you write in the ejection report, in these cases?

I'm shocked when situations like these happen and no one knows. I've had a defensive manager come out to me in the infield and ask to be dumped, we talked about what we were having for dinner and then he asked to go, I told him to say something stupid, so he told me to "go F*#K myself" and then I ran him and we took part in a loud argument for a while. No one knew, people were clueless to the fact that he was never arguing anything relating to the game and he just wanted to defend his player and be ran so he didn't have to sit on the bench in a little bit of rain.

Mgr comes out to argue a critical balk. I tell him I had a start/stop. You're exactly right (in my face at this point). I've told him 1000 times he's gotta come set. Does he fkn listen? Nnnoooooooo!!! Kid has an arm like a rocket and a head like a rock! (Pointing and stomping). Is that enough or do I hafta say f**k you? Boom.
