Quinn is working 3B at Chase Field for Dbacks Rangers game. I'm pretty sure he is making his MLB debut!

Yep, and the youngest, at 26, working as a call-up. Started pro-ball in his teens.

I thought Lance Barett was younger when he went up?

No, that was Joe West (at 23) in 1976 after starting in 1974. But yes, more recently Barrett went up at 25, but Wolcott is the youngest of the call ups working right now, not necessarily the youngest as to age at call up time.

Hard to belive that Joe West was ever young.

I watched Quinn work those two double header games and I was awe struck. I had heard a lot about him from some friends who attended Jimmy's when Quinn instructed there and have a few friends who know him. It was awesome to finally get to see him work. Then watching him work the plate was an experience in itself. As nerdy as it is every now and then I go on MLB.TV and watch some of his plate games from this past year. He is just one of those guys who is fun to watch work.
