Yes, the video shown in the broadcast does show it's a HR.  Not sure what video the umpires got to see.

But, what's with the announcer saying the ball "bounces up then down" --- over and over again?  It certainly did not bounce up at any point.  I think he was confused by the video being played forwards and backwards to show how the ball impacted the railing above the yellow line.  "Sad," "Horrible."

James Hoye talked a little about replay at the SEMUC camp I went to with him as the guest instructor. One of the things he mentioned is that even though some parks have different feeds for home and away, umpires only see the home feed in the back. This was the Oakland feed. I'd bet that Cleveland either didn't have or chose not to show that camera view, which led to the miss...

Another thing he mentioned was that Yankee Stadium has about 20 cameras on any given night... The Coliseum in Oakland has five. How's that fair?

Drunk lady dancing at 4:50 is more entertaining than the argument... I also like the announcer comment insinuating you can use fan reactions as an indication. lol

Umpires have all feeds available now at MLB level.  They get both teams' TVs as well as in stadium.  That came from the mouth of an MLB official as he was speaking at a state clinic last summer.  Umps blew this bad.  Not a shock since Angel is a disgrace to MLB umpire quality.

Actually the feed comes from NY, MLB headquarters, but ok.

Not according to Joe Torre and his many quotes this week.  Hockey they have it all in Toronto and no need for referees to make the call all done by league office.  MLB needs to do the same.
