In the bottom of the 6th inning with VT leading 2-0 and no one on base, the batter, HTB3 struck out to end the inning. HC ran out of the dugout and said, “That’s terrible, that’s not a strike.†From my position up the 3rd baseline I told him “that’s enough, you are warned.†Then he said “Everything about you is bad today†which I ejected him for. He starts talking to his base coach. HTF2 walks up to start taking the warm up pitches to begin the inning, looks at me and says “You’re F*#King terrible.†I looked and him and said, “You’re gone too.â€

HC then runs up to me and says “You can’t eject me for that, I was talking to my coach.†HTF2 then informs him that he had been ejected. HC asked me what he said. I told him, then he said that “there’s no way.†I told HC that “he had been ejected and if he did not leave the confines of the playing field I could give him a 2 game suspension.†He told me he would leave and he did.

Immediately following the game, my partner and I are walking through the parking lot to go change. HC pulls into the parking lot and immediately following him in a white Cadillac driven by HTF2. HTF2 swerves his car towards me and says out the window while driving by “F@#k You.â€

Apparently The HC didn't realize he was ejected because he was too busy yelling at me from outside of the dugout, then when I ejected the F2 the HC thought he was the one being ejected.

How could you give him a 2 game suspension and an ejection as an umpire?

If he didn't know he was ejected your ejection wasn't big enough.

Mike is correct.

We train our young umpires to say the words " you are ejected, get you personal gear and go to the parking lot" not " you are gone or you are out of here" loud enough for all to hear.

To answer questions to this point.

No I didn't call the police.

NCAA rule for excessively arguing after ejection. I simply warned him so that he would remember this was in play.

My ejection doesn't have to be bigger when everyone in the park saw it but him. He turned away as he said I was bad.

Your OP says "I told HC that “he had been ejected and if he did not leave the confines of the playing field I could give him a 2 game suspension."  That's not the same thing as the rule being enforced.  I'm not an umpire (I ref soccer and am a baseball daddy who lurks here), but would suggest you be careful about language that may make the conflict more personal.  Personally, I wouldn't mention consequences at all, I'd just say something like "Coach, you need to go now so we can continue the game."  If you really feel you get bang for the buck from mentioning the suspension (and I don't) I would suggest you change how you say it to "Coach, I need you to leave.  You know the league will suspend you two games if you don't levae promptly."  But again, I don't think you need that added in at all.
