Just wondering if any of you have been to the Mike Walsh Clinic. I have been trying to register for this year and they still haven't updated their website. Looking for thoughts on how to expand my career into getting noticed in the college world. Received some assignments this year, but not many. This clinic was recommended by a D1 ump I met at the NCAA meeting in Chicago this year. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks

I know a lot of the instructors.  I think it's a pretty good clinic...or should be based on who runs it.

Also consider the Mid-American Advanced Umpire Clinic in Springfield, MO.  I am not involved with their instruction and do not benefit financially from it, so as objective as I can possibly be...in my opinion it's the best "college" umpire clinic in the country.  The instructors are outstanding.  AND the website is updated for 2013!!!

Ive been and its a good one or at least it was when I went many years ago.

Since your in Michigan you should join Rich ...Fetchit's group.   I thinks its CBUA.

Won't get games directly from joining but you can see other related assigners and maybe talk to them.

(edit because I remembered his name if not his spelling)
