I hear ya'! "FINALLY" is right! HS scrimmages are this Friday & Saturday, then my games start the following Saturday.

Had my first two games today, JUCO conference DH.  Felt great to shake off the rust and get back out there.  HT won both games...8-0 and 9-1, didn't hear a peep from either team in either game.  Partner just got back from Harry's, and I was impressed with his mechanics and field presence.  Back at it tomorrow!

I too had my first two games of the season. Small school DH. Partner had first game. Took just over two hours. 11-4 and got hit at least four times. If not more. Second game, my plate. 14-4 mercy after 5. Just under 1:30. Got hit four times including a straight shot to the left forearm, two to the left thigh (know how you feel now Rolo), and one to the Gold. To top it off. First pitch of my game... horrible F2 cleats my new pair of Zig plate shoes On the upside. Shins I bought from a fellow UEer were awesome, Zigs felt great, and the Nutty Buddy was amazing.
