I'm still hoping to. I've yet to register, but if I can get the money, I really want to go... At this point, I'd say it's 50-50. I'll let you know if/when I register.

Thunder,

It's a good local clinic.  It's organized well, with knowledgable instructors.  They have quality guest instructors.  I have met James Hoye, Kyle McNeely and Mark Uyl at the clinic.  The instructors are very approachable and you don't "big timed" by them at all.   I keep attending because it's close, affordable (which for me is huge) and well run.  It does get you ready for the season.  They try their best to assign you to a group with a similar amount of experience.  Honigs is on site and Ump-Attire was on site last year.  Oh, yeah I met Jim Kirk last year.  Good guy.  There are local assigners @ the clinic also.  It's where I met the assigner that has become my main guy.  He keeps me busy in the spring time.  The facility is also good.  It's worth the cost, IMHO.

Well, my primary partner and I were going to go, but turns out he can't now, ....but based on what I've heard, and your nod above, I'm there! :D

Oh yeah, and Jeff, .... you can call me Jeff, I mean, it's in my signature, and we do have the same name! ;)

Good news, sir Thunder Jeff the first ;) ... I have gotten the OK to go ahead and register!! Barring anything weird or crazy happening, I will be registering next payday, a week from today.

I was holding out the birthday present card as a last resort because I'm hoping to get a Macbook for my 18th birthday! But I may have sacrificed that until my grad party or bought it myself if it meant going here... I really hope this clinic will help me transition from Little League umpiring, which is all I've done to this point, to higher levels of ball.

Woohoo!
