I actually had Laser in 1 eye about 3 months ago and still trying to get used to it. When it starts getting dark before they turn on the lights it is hard to pick up the ball.

When people ask why I want to umpire I usually tell them that I used to be a good ballplayer, but when my eyes went bad I started umpiring to stay in the game. Most of them get it, but not all of them. LOL

I tell them I became an umpire due to a serious lack of talent. Of course I also wear glasses.
