I call it LOUD. 100% of the time F1 stops. Sometimes he jumps :)

I had a coach the other day try to make a point by telling us a RHP wasn't turning his pivot foot before throwing over and that was a balk. I've never heard this before and we ignored. Do you feel that his pivot foot would turn first before his forward leg? Try not to beat me up on this one please.

JM is right. Coaches get accustomed to the jump turn/jab step but, as has been discussed here, no rule requires it. That said, if you mean throwing over to 1st, it's awfully tough for a RHP to throw legally (step toward 1st) without turning his pivot foot at some point, without pulling his groin.
