Had a similar question so hopefully someone can answer here instead of me having to start a new thread.

Any difference between the All Star 4000 umpire mask and the All Star 4000 catcher's mask? I notice the catcher's mask if about $10 cheaper yet all the details read the same. I think the harness is the only difference I notice.

Here is my take on it... The price difference is what, $100 bucks? Get the extra protection now and you never have to worry about it again....
