The old style shirts are fine order a navy and a cream and they fit good. The new style has more a scratchy feeling to the fabric which takes some getting use to compared to the old shirts that have more a smooth fabric.

Looking for "sizing" of an old-style shirt that someone recently received....

Well when I ordered mine it was the full slate of sizes available. I would call the local office due to the website not always being up to date on info. Forgive me for not answering the question directly sir!

No worries!!;) What I'm looking for is, ....Honig's sizes vary quite a bit from lot to lot. I was wondering if someone could give me an 'across the chest' measurement of an XL Honigs shirt they received recently (within the past few months) to see how the latest lot is running ...........thanks!:D

Jeff why not just make a roady to Ann Arbor? I've been three times in the 1.5 years I've been in school at U of Windsor...it truly is an umpire's toy store.

I know, I know ....but I live 30 miles east of the store, and I don't want to go unless I'm buying, so I can get in, and get out without spending unneccesarily!!:P

i ordered 6 of the old style honigs shirts for 12 bucks....awesome shirts...however they fit small...and i orderd one of the new shirts for 27 minus my discount....they look very good and fit the same a bit small...best shirt for ur money is smitty s ...they fit big and very comfortable and for 19 bucks in my opinion the best bang for ur buck...i have two of the ultimate shirts and i paid 65 bucks for both of them...they were alright but to me nothing special or that great better than smittys ...for the big price tag i dont think they are worth it...at maybe 25 bucks yes.....just my opinion but really the smitty shirts really impressed me

I think it depends on WHEN you ordered last year. The ones I picked up were HUGE! :)

Our association did a group buy from Honigs last year (June/July) and the shirts ran small.

This year I ordered a Red shirt from them with the new fabric, and it is good on the bases, and not too tight with my plate gear on.

All of my Honigs shirts run small. Had to make them my Base Shirts.

I haven't bought any since last year.

I ordered some stuff from Honigs and I wanted new polo colored shirts, so I was going to give their new shirts a try, but I decided to go with the Smitty polo blues from Purchase Officials. The old Honigs shirts from last year and the Majestics aren't bad shirts, but they just don't fit me very well. The Smittys are as close to a perfect fit as it gets for me.

If it is the Carolina Blue, how does it match up to Honig's Polo Blue?

There is a thread on this where someone (benrosen) confirms it ...it is the new one from Puchase Officials and it does match the Honigs and the Majestic Polo blue...
