Anyone catch this game on ESPN last night?

Here is the re-cap video. Go to 1:16 in the vid and see Bill Hall's at bat where he ties the game, ...catch Phil Cuzzi as the pitch comes in....what's he doing there ??? And, ....he was there A LOT during this game, ...but this is the only example I can find.

He did what no one should ever do: Setup on the outside of the catcher.

His reason would be due to head height mainly. He was too low. His eyes were lined up at the top or below the top of the catcher's helmet. Poor positioning which caused him to go into a very bad spot. Luckily, he didn't pay the price for it. But, he could have.

Don't go over the catcher's outside shoulder. It is far more dangerous than being in the slot.

2) Also, don't let your strike zone suck as bad as his did last night. :big_no

He was all over on position. I didn't see the game but in the clips he was in the slot, over the top of the catcher and then outside. Outside will get you killed, over the top will take the bottom away and the slot will give it all if you are the right height. I have no idea what his zone looked like last night so I will offer no comments.

After watching the video, I caught a few clips on MLB network. He was all over the place. Like was said above, I didn't watch the game but can see how his zone was all over the place. Being in a different spot tends to do that. And no, I am not taking his side.
