What adults largely do to kids' games is screw them up.

Are you listening, LL, Inc.?

Doubtful. Too busy counting the sheckels.

Well, .... it's all about to unfold as the LLWS kicks off today! Should be interesting to see what happens:2cents:

Oh good!

Another reason for me not to watch watered down baseball on ESPN.

I've thought this for a long time about their stupid appeal it all the way up to the national level crap and someone always being on call. It's crazy. If a 10 or 12 year old doesn't get to go to Williamsport because an umpire makes a mistake or misapplies a rule he will hopefully be taught a valuable lesson about human fallibility. Instead he's learning that if dad, or coach is persistent enough about something he just might get his way.

They just used it in the first game, the Washington coach appealed a play at homeplate which was called out and was correct. This whole tournament is going to be interesting with intstant replay being used on any call.

Remember, if they challange and it isn't overturned then they can't challahge again unless the game goes in extra innings.
