Permanent EJ

I did not witness the EJ but had all the reports since I am working as 1 of the assignors for our LL District.

Game is a LL Major Softball.

Basically HC argues balls and strikes with PU and is warned that is enough.

Warning is witnessed by a Board Member who is the field rep for the night. She also happens to be VP for softball for the league.

Later in the game, HC starts arguing with PU again and his tossed.

Field Rep confirms coach was argumentative several times with PU and backs his EJ.

Coach starts calling people the next day and after finding out his EJ included sitting out the next game, he states "well we will just forfeit the next game so they don't have to play without me". He is informed that he must sit out the next game they play, period. He then states he will forfeit the entire season.

Oh, BTW this coach also seems to be a player rep on the board.

Well the good news is, that after his comments about forfeits, he some how resigned his coaching position and his position on the board.

Obviously this coach forgot what the reason he was involved with LL Softball for.

Thankfully he will no longer be coaching or involved with the league period.

what a piece of work.. it's probably a good thing for everyone that he's not going to be coaching anymore..

Good riddance to bad rubbish. The dude had no business being involved in youth sports.

Really that guy feels he is that important that his team couldn't miss him for a game so he was just going to forfeit? Silly.
