My favorite Easter memory

Don't want to get too religious here but...

When my daughter was 3 years old we went to church for the Easter service. The youth group was doing a presentation of "The Passion of Christ."

The kids are doing the scene where the mob is chanting for Pontius Pilate to crucify Jesus. The children are chanting, "Crucify him! Crucify him!..."

Well that scene ends, and as the children are setting up their next scene and everything is relative quiet other than the light commotion on the stage, my daughter stands up on the pew and starts yelling, "Crucify him! Crucify him!.."

I thought it was funny, my wife was embarrassed.

After the play our preacher went on to his sermon, and perfectly incorporated what my daughter did into the scene at the mob. He used my daughter as an example several times in the sermon. The rest gets a little too deep for here, but it is a memory I will never forget.

Aw, that's such a sweet and funny story. My daughter once stood up during a wedding during the vows and yelled to my friend the bride, "When do we eat cake?" Thankfully she laughed, as did the rest of the wedding party and audience. I was mortified. But really, she was just shouting what we were all thinking.
