If you step onto a D-I field with some of those guys there is a good chance that something might get modified.

Really? because here its straight CCA on D-1 games and if were caught modifying them it doesnt bode well for the postseason (at any level I dont mean to imply that I work NCAA D-1 regionals or anything like that)

I agree that there quite a few pro trained D1 guys, we have some ourselves, but when working college, especially D1 conference play, you better be working CCA mechanics. My first conference assignor was an AA umpire and he taught straight CCA. This is doubly important doing three man.
