Utah will pull the scholarship... I almost guarantee it. Looks like a JuCo for this kid. Mt. SAC here he comes.

They need to. The JuCo here in Florida that I played at had a kid last year that had transferred from the University of Maine where he was a football player (NY all-time leading rusher, he ran back kicks there). Kid was listed at 5'5" (in spikes...on concrete...maybe), weighed a solid 165, but ran a 6.28 60 and surprisingly could put the bat on the ball well even after a year off. Come to find out, he transferred due to a pending larceny charge (accused of stealing books from the bookstore and selling them back). Well the charges were dropped, so the HC let him stay. Had a good season, then got arrested this past fall. Said it was for driving without a license, and the charges were dropped. Month into the season, he's hitting .430, stealing left and right...coach discovers it was for passing forged checks, and the charges were definitely not dropped. :hopmad:

You can't fix stupid...sometimes you can't even send it to a JuCo.

I'm sure that's where he'll go, but unless he has a radical attitude adjustment, he won't last long anywhere. And that's the way it probably should be.

I LOVE this!

Shreve said he has apologized to Cordes for the attack in which he says he wrestled the coach to the ground, but did not punch him. Shreve also disagrees with Cordes' rationale in removing him from the team.

"He said I wasn't going to class and I wasn't respecting the coaches, but I thought I showed him nothing but respect," Shreve said.

Nothing but respect shown, all the way down to the ground. Now, if he'd thrown a punch, THAT would have been a dis.

"If you were losing hundreds of thousands of dollars, you'd be upset, too."

Priceless.
