It is simple, either find an inoccuous spot on the field for a small cooler or put in dugout. While some guys have looked at me, and laughed that I take a small cooler with my name on it on the field, they are the first ones in it swiping my Powerade or bananas or tylenol lol

I would have to agree he was an idiot. No game is more important than staying healthy.

.W.PA 80's.....bright sun ....This weekend was the satellite sanction PONY tourney for the 13 yr olds. My association is doing the local tourney.

My game at 12:30 runs into extra innings....goes 11.....almost 3 hours......

One of our guys shows up for the next game to the TD table early........in full plate gear and sits under the tent for at least an hour stewing in full gear....He has had heat issues in the past and needs to be careful. Our game ended and they got on with the game....

Seems that 4 innings into the game, he collapses to heat issues.....ambulance comes, carts him off to the hospital where they (again) warn him about being careful and proper hydration....

Shows up yesterday at the championship game, to watch as a spectator....does not seem to be any ill effects....

But now its on us (assoc) to adjust his bookings if he continues to ignore the issue....
