I'm a mean ump

13-14 -House Pony, F1 is all over the area code with his pitches and I'm having a hard time calling the close pitches for him. He starts to get upset and coach goes out to calm him down. He gets pulled the next inning. Couple of innings later he grounds out and as he headed back to the bench he starts to take off his helmet. "Put your lid on,...GET your helmet back on...HEY, KEEP IT ON." as the kid is coming closer to me (total space cadet). In between, innings coach comes over and goes " I need a vacation from this kid." After the game I headed to the parking lot and see the kid and his older brother that I know and the kid goes "your mean when you ump, you make kids cry." I look at his brother "You going to get him his skirt?" Brother just starts laughing and they walk away. :BD:

My wife tells me I scare kids. She says I'm too stern. I'm user freindly as long as you do what you are supposed to do. I do have a banner on my computor that says,"You can do it my way, or you can do it my mad." B) I don't understand what she is trying to tell me.

I have a friend of mine that has a shirt that says," I'll try to be nicer if you try to be smarter!"

"Coach, we agree to disagree. I'm right and your going back to your bench."

Had a partner say that YEARs ago. I almost fell down laughing. The coach, however, didn't get my sense of humor.
