Thanks @Thunderheads, I don't know how they got to bashing me on my Red Shirt, anyways our fall ball schedule is either 4 games or 3 games that's how the association I'm in does it. I love umpiring so that's why I do it.

WOW, when I wrote this topic, I didn't think the grumpies would show up, And for my red jersey I love it and id wear it all season just to piss you off, and four games can be too much, obviously some can't do it, I love umpiring and can.

Looking to attend next year

We do one man here in Minnesota for lower level games (freshman, sophmore, JV) hustle, prioritize, keep calm, do your best, there are going to be some things you miss there's nothing you can do about that.

Man, I am really looking forward to getting back onto the field this Sunday. If you don't have that feeling of excitement every time game day approaches then its time to hang it up.

I'm wondering if the frame comes off, think it would br hard with the shock absorbers on the side

I don't recall putting it away wet, does the frame come off?? so I can get it taken care of, its looks unprofessional.

So I bought the Wilson Shock last year, I noticed its rusting on the frame, anything I can do to prevent this??

Will begin my 20th season next year, can't believe its been that long, I still love doing it, hope to still be officiating when my son gets old enough we can ump together that would be awesome.

I didn't get to see the whole game, will watch it here in a few, as I DVR'd it as I had to work, from what I saw, I thought he called a helleva game.

Don't know about you guys, but man its been a while since I've been out on the field, got an email the other day about doing a tournament next weekend and I jumped on it can't wait.
