Interesting...was not aware. Will verify with our recent stock. One thing that happens on multiple gear is some retailers have stuff sitting around for years or they don’t rotate their inventory. Could be something from years back, but I trust your opinion enough to take a fresh look from our inventory.

I confirm also that the black frames are all the same here, there and elsewhere. There is no glossy frame on AS Mags.

Note also, we have been providing a free harness upgrade in the box since 4th Qtr 2020 with each W Gold CP purchase. Seems the right thing to do. May do with Platinums if we can get more stock in...had been limited for one reason or another.

Technically Adams XV HD. Looks like they changed the name and model number but not the CP. We’ll work on getting it righted online. Screenshot enclosed from 2021 catalog.

Note this is an updated video, not a new product. It was new in 2018 and replaced the A9779 first available in 2010 by our records. Main differences are: -Updated Look (sleeker) -Improved Fabric (old fabric more coarse, this one more smooth) -Removed 3-prong buckles that were a little cumbersome -V2 sirs better upright Found a few pics in the archive.

Good question. The Schutt (and Adams) brands were bought out late last year, so I don’t expect any improvement plans right away to anything out of those lines umpire gear-wise and likely was the reason for the long, continuing delay in availability of anything that went out of stock. This has been a hot, relevant topic here and elsewhere. As a result, we have compiled many of the comments, reviews and discussions out there (including here) and made a summary list of +’s and -‘s of each mask, gaiter and face mask covering we offer - at least as it relates to plate work. Managing your protective mask & helmet while wearing and/or using an additional apparel item or apparatus presents its own set of issues. Not unlike umpire gear & apparel in general, a positive attribute for one person can be a negative one for another. In other words, what’s best is best for the individual. I hope this is helpful.
