Ok a couple of things. The WV covers all of my ribs barely so I think it's the right size. Number two, does anyone use the bicep pads I cant get them comfortable?

I'm a a big guy (too big) 5'11 255. I bought the longer size. I did order some mock shirts to cover my neck. I'll just wear it more and wait for it to break in.

I know this topic has come up before but I need some specific advice. My new West Vest is way tight on my neck. I know that I should put a girls basketball in there but how do I keep it secure? Also, when I wear it high where it should be the shoulder pads are actually off of my shoulders. How do I break them in to fit better?

I had a situation like this in my 3rd game ever. I didn't send him and the coach went crazy on me. Now he was set up way inside and really didn't move at all. I stuck to my guns and later my partner said I had it right. So I agree that you shouldn't have sent him.

Oh man my wife is going to kill me. She gave me the ok to buy the mask but when I went online I saw the West Vest and I was getting 20%off so I had to order that as well. Oh well, as long as I can get my mask and CP on before she starts throwing stuff I'll be ok.

I saw something on the board about really good replacement pads. Are they universal or does the company make them for different brands of mask?

I'm geting a new mask for this season. Which is better the Allstar FM4000ump or the diamond ultralight? Any experiences with either would be appreciated.

I have already put in for my personal days so I can come to this camp. My only problem is finding an inexpensive flight.

I have 12 games so far with one HS game. Unfortunately most f the games were given out befors I took the test in February. However, I will be scooping up anything else that comes my way, rainouts, call-offs etc. My first scrimmage is the 19th.

Im also a teacher and all of mine are hidden and any new work will be as well. As far as why I have two reasons I like the look and meaning behind them and I love the feeling. After a tattoo if finished and they start cleaning it up the burning relief is a great feeling. It's kind of like eating really spicy food, it's more about the feeling than it is about the flavor. No one in the other thread said that it had to be earned but I just figured that they are for the best umpires. I showed my wife the picture and said in a few years that's going to be me. Of course she said "that's good" haha not understanding it. Plate coats just look like another level of umpire.

Great point. I'm a new guy and everyone on here has been so helpful. Answering my questions on rule, which helped me pass my test, mechanics and of course my favorite equipment. Making the new guys TOP guys is how n organization becomes the best.

I just ordered all of my PIAA clothing and patches. I also got my first HS freshman game assignment between two very good local teams. This is going to be a great season. Should I order a heavy fleece jacket and gloves for the season? I'm in PA and my first game isn't until April 2nd. I kind of think that I wont need it until fall ball.
